Alberto Moel

Alberto Moel is an advisor at Alpha Intelligence Capital. Alberto has over 17 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on robotics and automation, manufacturing technology, and display technology.

Moel started their career as an assistant professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In 2003, they joined Monitor Group as a principal and helped grow the company to over 60 employees. Alberto then left to start AAA Asset Management, which they ran for three years before joining Veo Robotics as VP of Strategy and Partnerships.

In 2010, Moel joined Sanford C. Bernstein as a senior research analyst. Alberto was one of the first hires in Bernstein’s Hong Kong office, which has since grown to include a full complement of research, sales, and trading capabilities. As a senior research analyst at Bernstein, Moel was viewed as a resource and authority in robotics and automation, manufacturing technology, and display technology by clients and industry participants.

Moel has been with Alpha Intelligence Capital since 2017. In their current role as an advisor, they use their extensive knowledge of the technology industry to identify trends and investment opportunities.

Alberto Moel earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Alberto also holds an SB in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
