Founded in 1919, Alpha Kappa Sigma (AKΣ) is the oldest fraternity at Northeastern University and has proudly remained a local brotherhood for over 100 years. We are a tight-knit organization by design, committed to fostering scholarship, leadership, and fellowship among our members.

With a capped active membership of fewer than 100 brothers, AKΣ offers a unique community built on deep bonds, personal growth, and lifelong connections. Our alumni network is extensive and well-connected, providing opportunities across industries, with strong roots in Boston and beyond.

We are dedicated not only to our members, but also to the greater Northeastern and Boston communities. Through partnerships with local organizations, we engage in meaningful service and philanthropic initiatives each semester.
