Steve Heaney

Stephen Heaney has a distinguished career in public finance and municipal securities, currently retired after serving as Co-Head of the Municipal Securities Group at Stifel from May 2017 to July 2019. Heaney has held various leadership roles, including Managing Director at Stone & Youngberg and Director of Public Finance at Stifel Financial Corp. Stephen served as Vice President at Crocker National Bank and First Vice President at EF Hutton earlier in their career. In addition to extensive experience in the finance sector, Heaney is actively involved in community service, currently serving on the Measure M Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee for Los Angeles Metro and the Advisory Board Council on Aging for the Los Angeles Department of Aging. Educated at Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Syracuse University with a Master of Public Administration, Heaney combines academic knowledge with practical experience in public service and finance.
