Catherine Howard

Catherine Howard has a diverse background in education, immigration advocacy, and human rights research. Currently serving as a Guide at Alpha since May 2023, Catherine previously worked as a Language and Culture Assistant at Ministerio de Educación, España, where planning and delivering English instruction formed a key responsibility. Prior experience includes mentoring at Crimson Education, advocating for migrants at Free Migration Project, and conducting human rights research at Duke University. Catherine's role as a Teaching Fellow with The Kenan Institute of Ethics involved developing curricula and mentoring students, while earlier positions included serving as a paralegal and migrant intake coordinator in various advocacy organizations. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies and International Comparative Studies from Duke University in 2022.
