Aneel Ranadive

Aneel Ranadive is the Managing Partner at Soma Capital. He was an early investor in Rappi, Cruise, Ironclad, Rippling, Alto Pharmacy, Razorpay, etc. with a $40B combined value of all portfolio companies with nearly $10B in capital invested into Soma Cap's portfolio co's from top tier VC's. Aneel also runs the family office for the Ranadive family. His father Vivek Ranadive is the founder of Tibco Software ($4.3B exit to Vista) and early investor in Google, Yahoo, Salesforce, eBay among others. Previously, Aneel was the Founder of Tag, a location-sharing app backed by Facebook Cofounder Eduardo Saverin and Tim Draper which was later acquired by Mark Cuban in 2015. He was also Co-founder of GlanceGuide a video analytics company sold to Nielsen and BoredAt, an anonymous social network backed by Redpoint Ventures. He went to Columbia University for undergrad and did investment banking at Bank of America.
