Jack Belcher

Jack Belcher is currently the Chief Technical Officer at Alpha Technologies. Prior to this, they were Sr. Manager, IT Infrastructure and Operations at Lumos Networks from December 2010 to January 2014. In this role, they led a team of over 30 engineers and technicians overseeing all aspects of IT infrastructure, operations and support. Jack was also accountable for forecasting, preparing, and maintaining a multi-million dollar capital and operating budget.

From December 1999 to December 2010, Belcher served as VP, Data Services & Engineering at FiberNet of WV. In this role, they were responsible for all IT data center space, power, cooling, compute, and storage. Jack also implemented an ITIL based service desk ticketing system and lead the support teams through adoption of the new processes.

Prior to their roles at Lumos Networks and FiberNet of WV, Belcher served as an Independent Consultant from January 1997 to December 1999.

Jack Belcher has a degree in Information Systems from West Virginia State University.

They are on a team with Drew Kesler - VP, Fiber Infrastructure, Chris Starkey - Sales Manager, and Richard O’Brien - EVP & Chief Marketing Officer.
