Natascia Tiso

Natascia Tiso is an accomplished Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, University of Padova, Italy, with extensive experience in teaching courses such as "Model Organisms in Biology" and "Applied Biology." In addition to academic duties, Natascia serves as the DiBio Zebrafish Facility Deputy Director at Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg, maintaining a scientific collaboration with Prof. Wolfgang Driever's team. Natascia also holds a long-term position as a Biology Teacher for Alpha Test, preparing high school candidates for medical school selection. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at the University of Padova, with a focus on courses in Basic Genetics and Developmental Molecular Biology, and postdoctoral work at Max Planck Institutes Tübingen and the University of Toronto. Natascia obtained a PhD in Genetics from the University of Padova and a degree in Biology, Biomolecular Sciences from the same university.
