Jacob Poirier

Jacob Poirier is a seasoned quality engineer with extensive experience in quality management systems and industrial engineering. Currently serving as a Quality Engineer at Tegra Medical since August 2021 and holding dual roles as QA Engineer and Production Engineer at Alpha Wire since November 2018, Jacob manages QMS systems to uphold ISO 9001:2015, UL, and CSA certifications, while addressing quality escapes through 8D reports. Previous experience includes a position as an Industrial Engineer at New England Wire Products and a Senior Engineer Assistant at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. Jacob also completed a capstone project with Hope Global focused on developing a material handling and scheduling system. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
