Akash Sharma

Akash Sharma is the President of Bridgeton, an investment and operational firm specializing in value-add and opportunistic real estate investments across major U.S. markets since 2012. In June 2023, Akash joined the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics as an Advisory Board Member and has served as an Advisor for AlphaBBL, a pre-seed energy analytics startup in the Techstars 2020 Allied Space Program since 2020. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate in Investments at Clairvue Capital Partners, where involvement focused on private equity fund management, and an Associate position in Investments & Asset Management at The CIM Group, a prominent player in the urban real estate and infrastructure sector. Akash holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Selected acquisitions include notable properties such as the 432 Park Avenue site in New York and Turnberry Towers in Las Vegas.
