Elena Hurjui has a diverse and extensive work experience that spans over 17 years. Elena is the co-founder and Strategy Director of Heraldist, an independent consultancy group founded in 2014 that specializes in Perception Engineering™ for tech startups. Prior to that, Elena worked as the Chief Marketing Officer at Alphablock since 2018.
Before their role at Alphablock, Elena worked at McCann Erickson as a Group Account Director from 2012 to 2014, where they coordinated communication for The Coca-Cola Company in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Elena was responsible for brands such as Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Schweppes, and the Coca-Cola sponsorship for the 2014 Winter Olympics. During their time at McCann Erickson, Elena managed a team of 7 project managers.
Additionally, Elena has held various account director roles at Publicis Groupe, Ogilvy & Mather, and BBDO between 2007 and 2012. At BBDO, they managed communication for PepsiCo in Romania, overseeing brands such as Pepsi, 7UP, Lay's, and Gatorade. Elena also supervised a team of 5 project managers.
Elena's career began in 2003 as a PR Coordinator at LEADERS Bucharest. Elena then worked as an Account Executive at Plus Advertising Bucharest and Adverteam Bucharest before joining McCann Erickson as an Account Executive.
Throughout their career, Elena has gained extensive experience in strategy, marketing, and project management, with a focus on the tech, beverage, and advertising industries.
Elena Hurjui obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Universitatea din Bacău, where they studied from 1999 to 2003.
