Anuj Jain

Anuj Jain is a quantitative researcher currently at AlphaGrep, focusing on long-short equity strategies. They previously worked at PhonePe, where they built quant-based long-only strategies that delivered 42% alpha over the benchmark. Anuj co-founded OpenQ, a quant-based investment advisory that was acquired by PhonePe in 2022. They hold a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and have cleared all three levels of the CFA examination. Anuj has gained diverse experience in the finance sector, including roles at Quantify Capital and Nomura.
