Simon Hughes

Simon Hughes is an experienced product designer currently working at Alpha Group since January 2023. Prior to this role, Simon held positions as a product designer and junior product designer at Pomelo Pay from August 2020 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes working as a UX/UI designer at Shed Collective and a user experience design intern at LifeWorks. Simon's career began as a human factors consultant at Cavendish Nuclear, focusing on safety-critical engineering projects. Simon also gained early experience as a student chaperone at Loughborough Students' Union and as a sales assistant at DW Sports Fitness. Academically, Simon earned a Master’s degree in Digital Service Design from Brunel University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Ergonomics & Human Factors from Loughborough University.
