Tim Butters

Tim Butters has a strong background in risk management and has held various roles in different companies. Tim has worked as the Chief Risk Officer at Alpha Group and the Head of Enterprise Risk at the same company. Prior to that, they were the Head of Risk at WorldFirst and also worked in a hedge fund credit role at RBS. Tim Butters has also worked at Mako Trading, where they held the positions of Head of Risk and Risk Manager. Tim started their career at MUFG Securities, where they participated in their graduate scheme and worked in internal control. Overall, Tim Butters has extensive experience in risk management across different industries and companies.

Tim Butters attended Solent University from 2001 to 2005, where they earned a BSc (Hons) in Business Information Systems. In addition, they obtained the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) certification from the GARP FRM Program in January 2015.
