Jennifer Walters has a strong background in academia and research. Jennifer is currently working as a Lecturer at The Ohio State University, where they began in August 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Adjunct at both Sinclair Community College and Rutgers University - Camden, starting in January 2021. In 2020, Jennifer held the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor at Temple University and Support Team Coordinator at Alphanumeric Systems. Jennifer also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Nagib Lab Mass Spectrometer Primary Operator at The Ohio State University from June 2019 to June 2020. Additionally, Jennifer has experience as a Safety Officer at Tyler School of Art in 2019. From 2014 to 2019, they held various roles at Temple University, including Assistant to the Director of NMR Facility, Graduate Student, Wengryniuk Lab Mass Spectrometers Primary Operator, and Teaching Assistant. Jennifer started their career as a Training Coordinator at Alphanumeric Systems in 2010. In their roles, they have conducted research, published articles, mentored students, and presented at conferences.

Jennifer Walters completed their education as follows:

From 2014 to 2019, they attended Temple University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Organic Chemistry.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they attended Arcadia University, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Forensic Science.

From 2009 to 2013, they also attended Arcadia University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry.

Jennifer briefly attended Montgomery County Community College and the University of Stirling in 2010, but did not obtain any degrees from these institutions.

In addition to their degrees, they hold several certifications. In May 2020, they obtained an Inclusive Leadership certification from LinkedIn. In 2016, they received a Teaching in Higher Education Certificate for Graduate Students from Temple University. Jennifer also holds a Logical Operations Modern Classroom Certified Trainer (MCCT®) certification from CertNexus, which they obtained in March 2020. Finally, they hold a MEDIC PediatricPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid for Children, Infants, and Adults certification, which they obtained from Training Center I.D. GIR191 in August 2018.
