Sheryl Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Sheryl started their career as an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist at Johnston Memorial Hospital in 2003. From there, they worked as a Consultant Pharmacist at PPD and later joined GSK as a Product Specialist in 2006. At GSK, they also served as a Medical Information Scientist before joining PPD again as a Sr Consultant Pharmacist in 2015.
In 2016, Sheryl joined Alphanumeric Systems, Inc as an Operations Team Lead, where they managed health care providers and developed new programs at the Customer Response Center and Health care support teams for GSK. Sheryl continued working at Alphanumeric Systems in various roles, including Operations Manager of multiple teams within a pharmaceutical industry customer service call center, responsible for patient support and medical information to healthcare providers.
In 2020, Sheryl became the Director of North America Vaccines at Alphanumeric Systems, overseeing the daily operations of a 3rd party medical contact center for the US and Canada, supporting a top pharmaceutical company in implementing a COVID-19 Contact Center. Currently, they hold the position of Global Director Medical Information - COVID-19 Contact Center, responsible for overseeing medical information contact center activities for a top pharmaceutical company's emergency use authorized COVID-19 vaccine in various regions.
Throughout their career, Sheryl Johnson has demonstrated strong leadership skills, overseeing teams, managing operations, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Sheryl has a solid background in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in medical information, patient support, and customer service.
Sheryl Johnson completed their Master's Degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between the years 1990 and 1992. Sheryl later pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the same university, graduating between 1998 and 2002.
