Kevin Sutton has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Kevin is currently the Founder and Chief Technology Officer at AlphaONE Operations, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal Industry Consultant IoT at SAS from October 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining SAS, Sutton held multiple roles at Raxis, starting as a Senior Security Consultant from October 2018 to April 2020, and later continuing in the same role from April 2020 to October 2020. During their time at Raxis, they conducted various security assessments, including Red/Blue/Purple Team assessments and secure code reviews.

From December 2018 to April 2020, Sutton was the Principal Deal Lead - Divestitures at GE, where they managed divestiture activities of IT services for the Baker Hughes Company. Kevin established Temporary Service Agreements (TSA) to support the transition period, contributing to $40MM in annual GE revenue.

Prior to their role at GE, Sutton worked at GE Digital as a Senior Enterprise Architect (Digital Thread Software) from June 2016 to December 2018. In this position, they developed secure development standards and provided architecture guidance for GE's internal CI/CD platform. Kevin also built hybrid Industrial IoT platform solutions across GE Predix, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.

Before joining GE Digital, Sutton held various positions at GE Oil & Gas from April 2014 to June 2016. Kevin served as the IT Director, Commercial Software Delivery (Industrial Internet), where they developed the big data strategy for Industrial Internet software solutions. Kevin also worked as the IT Director, Database & Middleware, responsible for leading teams in driving performance and availability for over 50 database and middleware applications.

Sutton started their career at GE Energy in April 2010, where they served as the GAMS P&L Leader for Energy Services and later as the Operations Leader, Oracle ERP. In these roles, they managed teams and ensured performance and availability of applications and ERP instances.

Before joining GE, Sutton worked at IBM as an Open Systems Storage Specialist, providing technical coverage for the state of Georgia and educating customers on IBM's Data Storage product-line.

Sutton's earliest work experience was at Auburn University, where they served as an Information Technology Specialist from March 1994 to March 1997. In this role, they assisted faculty, staff, and students with computing resources and implemented a hardware leasing program.

Overall, Kevin Sutton has extensive experience in technology roles, including leadership positions and expertise in security, IoT, cloud technologies, and software delivery.

Kevin Sutton earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Kennesaw State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, General from Auburn University, where they attended from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Kevin has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Kevin became a Certified Remote Pilot (FAA Part 107) in November 2017 through the Federal Aviation Administration. Kevin also earned the Predix Certified Developer certification from GE Digital in March 2017. Other certifications include the Experienced Information Management Professional (EIMP) from GE Crotonville in July 2011, the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in September 2005, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in May 2003.
