Victor Hernandez

Victor Hernandez has worked in various software development roles since 2015. Victor has experience with technologies such as React Native, Tomcat, Java, C#, .NET, and SQL Server. Most recently, they worked as a consultant and senior software engineer for AlphaPoint, Asofarma Centroamerica & Caribe, and Quinielas Live in 2022. Prior to this, they worked for OIM-ONU Migración as a consultant in 2022 where they led the design and development of a comprehensive system funded by USAID. Victor also worked for FAO for almost five years, where they developed a website and an app to manage market information statistics. Furthermore, they worked for government agencies such as Secretaría de Integración Económica Centroamericana and OIM-ONU Migración where they created websites to manage Central American invoice, dashboard, and survey data, all while keeping the apps aligned with stakeholder needs.

Victor Hernandez attended Colegio Lehnsen from 1996 to 1998 and earned a Bachillerato in Ciencias y letras. Victor then went on to the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniería de sistemas. Additionally, Victor has obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2022, and several web development-related certifications from Pluralsight in 2021 and 2022, such as Using React Hooks, Advance React.js, Node.js and Fundamental Cloud Concepts for AWS.
