Chris Ackerson

Chris Ackerson is the VP of Product at AlphaSense. Chris has over 9 years of experience in product management and has previously worked at IBM and GlassHouse Technologies. At IBM, Chris was a Senior Product Manager and was responsible for designing the next generation machine learning platform and products. Chris oversaw the development and launch of Watson Dedicated, a single-tenant conversational AI solution aimed at regulated workloads. At GlassHouse Technologies, Chris was a Program Manager and led North American delivery for Glasshouse / IBM partner services. Chris grew revenue and margin 18% and 23% respectively over 2 years. In their final year (2013), Chris' team delivered 100% renewal for projects under their management.

Chris Ackerson's educational career began when they matriculated at Carnegie Mellon University, where they studied electrical and computer engineering. Upon graduation, Ackerson earned their Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon.

Chris Ackerson reports to Jack Kokko, CEO. They work with Jim Bode - Global Head of Broker Relations, Robert Magri - Chief Content Officer, and Elyse Goodman - Chief of Staff.
