Hang Shi

Hang Shi is a finance professional with extensive experience in equity research and financial modeling. Currently serving as Sector Leader for TMT at AlphaSense since July 2024, Hang previously held the position of Deputy Sector Leader at Tegus and Canalyst, contributing to the development and maintenance of financial models for over 3,000 companies. Hang has a strong background in quantitative and qualitative analysis, demonstrated by effective management of a Canadian equity endowment fund at Simon Fraser University, achieving superior returns. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Earlier career experiences include QA roles at Absolute Software and IBM.
