Mathew Liew

Mathew Liew is a dedicated software engineer currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at AlphaSense since 2024, focusing on front-end development. Previously, Mathew held roles at Morningstar, where they advanced through multiple positions, culminating as a Senior Software Engineer, and played a key role in transitioning to a Vue.js-based architecture. Mathew also gained valuable experience as a Software Quality Assurance professional at Epic and as a Research Assistant at Wang Research Lab, contributing to published research on microbiology. Mathew earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University and completed a Web Development program at Dev Bootcamp.
