Melanie Thompson

Melanie Thompson currently serves as Manager of Expert Compensation at AlphaSense, leading a team responsible for facilitating payments to Experts in the Expert Insights division since August 2023. With a diverse background in the entertainment industry as a professional actor since 2010, Melanie also held roles at Stream by AlphaSense as an Expert Solutions Specialist and Onboarding Specialist from April 2022 to November 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Proctor at Advantage Testing from June 2016 to April 2022, overseeing practice college entrance exams, and as a Production Coordinator at 24FRAME.COM INC from March 2016 to April 2022, where responsibilities included liaisons with producers and office management tasks. Additional earlier roles include positions as a server at Killer Shrimp and a shift supervisor at Farm Stand Restaurant, alongside technical support as a Level 2 Diagnostic Specialist at CyberDefender Corp. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Emerson College and has continued education at the Ivana Chubbuck Studio since 2012.
