Milla Mäkeläinen

Milla Mäkeläinen has extensive experience in people management and quality assurance within the technology sector. Currently serving as the Head of People and Country Managing Director at AlphaSense in Finland since September 2013, Milla plays a crucial role in aligning global strategy with local team needs while overseeing workplace wellbeing, budget planning, and local work culture development. Previous positions at AlphaSense include Country Director, Head of Delivery, and QA Team Lead, with a strong focus on software product delivery and global QA organization leadership. Prior to AlphaSense, Milla worked as a QA Automation Engineer at Alea Software, developed automated test cases using Selenium, and held quality assurance roles at Mediasurface and emorphia. Milla holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Nottingham Trent University and has a foundational education from the University of Helsinki.
