Nick Mazing has extensive experience in investment management and research, currently working at AlphaSense since 2018. Prior to this role, Nick was the PM and Founder of Ampera Capital LLC from July 2013 to 2018, managing a long/short equities portfolio focused on consumer and retail sectors, with initial funding from Bighawk LLC, where Nick served as an Analyst/PM from 2011 to 2013. Earlier experience includes founding a retail investor-focused product, an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers, and holding general management positions at Aramark. Nick earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maine at Machias.
