Tanel Mae

Tanel Mae is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in cloud platform engineering and DevOps, currently serving as a Staff Cloud Platform Engineer and DevEx Tech Lead at AlphaSense since September 2021. Previously, Tanel held key positions at Sharper Shape Inc. as Lead DevOps Engineer and Senior DevOps Engineer, and co-founded Delivered Oy, contributing significantly to the development of a distributed backend infrastructure. Tanel's expertise encompasses a wide range of technologies, including Go, Python, Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform, focusing on cloud cost optimization, security, and scalability. Earlier career roles include positions at Jongla Oy, Bublaa Oy, and Pryte, where Tanel worked on software development, quality assurance, and testing automation. Tanel holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from Tallinn University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Tartu.
