Alexander Leclair

Alexander Leclair is the Global Head of Capital Markets at AlphaSights. Prior to joining AlphaSights, they worked as an investment banker for Berkshire Capital Securities LLC from January 2012 to December 2013. During their time at Berkshire Capital Securities LLC, they were responsible for day-to-day buy and sell-side transaction execution, financial modeling, authoring offering memoranda and transaction documents, creating deal marketing materials, and coordinating due diligence efforts. Some of their notable deals include Allied World Assurance Group Holdings' investment in Crescent Capital Group LP, Allied World Assurance Group Holdings' investment in Aeolus Capital, First Allied Holdings Inc.'s acquisition of The Legend Group (Waddell & Reed), Allied World Assurance Group Holdings' investment in Matlin Patterson, and New York Life Investments' acquisition of Cornerstone Capital Management, Inc.

Before their career in investment banking, Leclair was a part of GE Capital's Financial Management Program from January 2010 to December 2011.

Alexander Leclair's educational career thus far has consisted of completing a Bachelor of Science at Cornell University.

They are on a team with Gregory Sexton - Global Head, Corporate & Integrated Services, Oliver Strutynski - CFO, and Chris Wrobel - SVP, Asia & Global Head, PD/HR. Their manager is Andrew Heath, Co-CEO.
