Liam J. Burns

Liam J. Burns is the Chief Executive Officer of Qaelon Medical, where they are pioneering a real-time surgical leak test. They served as Vice President of Marketing at Power Medical Interventions and held a variety of significant roles at Ethicon, Inc., and Dextera Surgical Inc., contributing to substantial revenue growth and successful product launches. As Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of the World Congress on Diabetes Surgery, they initiated the first metabolic health summit which influenced treatment guidelines. Additionally, they founded EP Burns Consulting Group, providing strategic leadership to medical device startups. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the College of the Holy Cross, Liam combines their executive experience with academic growth in the field.
