Musse Olol currently serves as the President of the Somali American Council of Oregon since January 2011 and holds a position as a Member of the Board of Directors at Lines for Life since October 2016. Musse has been a Senior Design Engineer at Rogers Machinery Company, Inc. since April 2020 and has worked as a Consultant for AlphaSights since November 2020. Musse previously contributed to the State of Oregon as a Commissioner on the Oregon Commission on Black Affairs from September 2014 to September 2020, linking Oregon's African American and Black communities with the state government. Additional experience includes roles as Project Manager at DMT Clear Gas Solutions, Engineer at Cornell Pump (a Roper Technologies Company), Engineer at PumpTech, Inc., Engineering Manager at Western Fluid Power, and Staff Engineer at Kiewit. Musse Olol is an alumnus of Portland State University.
