Nick Smith

Nick Smith is an experienced professional currently serving as Group Product Manager and Americas Lead at AlphaSights, a position held since April 2021, after progressing through various roles including Product Lead and Project Manager in Product and Strategy. Prior to AlphaSights, Nick held the role of General Manager at The Anglo-Omani Society/Omani British Business Council from October 2019 to April 2021, facilitating collaboration between the government, academic, and private sectors of Oman and the UK. Nick's earlier career includes a tenure in the British Army as a Captain in The Light Dragoons, a light cavalry regiment focused on long-range reconnaissance, from January 2014 to June 2019. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Oxford and ongoing training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
