Chad Cook

Chad Cook's work experience begins in 1991 when they founded their own consulting firm, providing security and technology consulting services to Fortune 500 corporations, enterprises, and small businesses. During this time, they also served as an advisory board member for several technology and security organizations.

In 1998, Cook worked as a Principal Engineer at Infolibria, where they focused on designing and developing Internet caching devices with security components and secure network design.

From 2000 to 2001, they held the role of Chief Security Architect at Zetari Inc. and later at Forum Systems. In 2000, Cook was a Senior Partner and Research Scientist at @stake.

In 2001, they joined Black Dragon Software as their CTO, where they played a pivotal role in building the enterprise software for security modeling, metrics, and risk management.

From 2004 to 2013, Cook served as the CTO of Lime Brokerage LLC, which was acquired by Wedbush, Inc. during their tenure.

Starting from 2014, Cook worked at Bracebridge Capital, LLC as their CTO and CISO, responsible for modernizing and evolving the technology platform, developing an enterprise risk management program, and creating an information security-focused environment.

Since 2010, Cook has also been an Advisor at GoRin Technologies, providing advisory services to entrepreneurs and early-stage technology and innovation firms in various industries, including finance, healthcare, insurance, and data communications.

Most recently, in 2022, Cook became the Chief Technology Officer at AlphaSimplex Group.

Throughout their career, Cook has demonstrated expertise in leadership, product viability, corporate culture, technical architecture, design, and security, while working in diverse industries and organizations.

Chad Cook graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Chad'sstudies at the college focused on the fields of Psychology, Sociology, and Computer Science. Prior to attending college, Chad completed their high school education at Saint John's High School. In addition to their formal education, Chad has obtained a certification in Series 99 from FINRA.
