Manas Gupta

Manas Gupta has extensive work experience in various roles related to research, advisory, and analytics. Manas is currently serving as the Head of Research at alphastream.ai and also works as a Consultant and Advisor at Yieldtrust. Prior to these roles, Manas worked as a Faculty of Analytics & Data Science at Great Learning. Manas had a long tenure at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, where they held the position of Head of Buy Side Research & Advisory for seven years. Before that, they served as the Head of Sell Side Research & Strategy at Royal Bank of Scotland Business. Manas has also worked as a Manager in Investment Research & Analytics at Sutherland, a Senior Analyst in Corporate & Investment Banking at Moody's Analytics Knowledge Services, and an Associate in Corporate Treasury, Funding & Liquidity at GE Capital. Manas started their career as a Management Trainee in Research for Corporate Products at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund. Additionally, Manas had a project internship at F&C Investment Trust, where they conducted a study on the prospects of a new entrant.

Manas Gupta's education history includes a Post Graduation in Data Science with a specialization in Finance & Risk Analytics from Texas McCombs School of Business (2019-2021). Manas also has certifications from charter programs in Credit, Fintech & Capital Markets from Corporate Finance Institute® (CFI) (2018-2024). Prior to that, they attended Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University for Institute of Management Education (IME), NCR (National Capital Region) from 2002 to 2004. Manas holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Commerce with honors in Accounting & Taxation and specialization in Finance from Calcutta University, Kolkata from 1996 to 2001. Manas also attended Ramakrishna Mission Residential College for their secondary education and Kendriya Vidyalaya for primary school education.
