David Asher

David Asher, D.Phil., currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute and holds advisory roles at OMX Ventures and Vital Financial LLC, where expertise includes advising major hedge funds on macro strategy and energy in Asia and the Middle East. With experience as a Strategic Advisor for the U.S. Department of State, Asher led investigations into the origins of COVID-19 and coordinated efforts against drug trafficking. Additional roles include Advisory Board Member at Alpine Macro and Board Member at the Foundation For Defense of Democracies.
