Avner Penchas

Avner Penchas is a seasoned finance executive currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at alpitronic since June 2023. Prior to this role, Avner held the position of Director of FP&A at REE from January 2022 to June 2023, as well as various finance leadership roles at Shell from August 2015 to January 2022, including Finance Manager for Gas & Power Trading and Head of Finance JV / Treasury at the Shell Deer Park Manufacturing Complex. Avner's expertise spans liquidity management, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis, supported by earlier experience at Wood Mackenzie as an Energy Consultant and at Ernst & Young in Transaction Advisory Services. Avner holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and dual degrees in Law and Accounting from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Additionally, Avner served as a Chief Medical Corps Instructor in the Israel Defense Forces.
