Established in 1903 in the South of Tarn and set in the beautiful surroundings of the deep Black Mountain forest ('Montagne Noire'), Tannery Alran S.A.S. has developed a vast expertise in the tanning and tawing of goat, calf and buffalo skins and hides.

With passion and flair, our team produces leathers dedicated to the shoes, leather goods and upholstery industries as well as to the bookbinders' works. We are proud to supply the most prestigious trademarks and famous manufacturers, independent craftsmen and young designers who share our deep passion for leather.

Using state-of-the-art quality techniques, our team is highly responsive to specific requirements, developing new products and exploring innovation to the benefit of our customers.

In addition to the hand-boarded Madras goat skins, we specialize in smooth goat and calf skins, metallized, pearlized or printed hides, suede goat skins and nubuck calf. We use a wide range of tanning, cleaning and dressing techniques. We keep on reviving the tradition of vegetal tanning, regularly revisiting the large scope of touchers and grains offered by our leathers.
