Iconic – Historic - Classic

Al’s Steakhouse opened its doors in July of 1967 and made history. Under the leadership of owner Halim “Al” Saikali, Al’s rapidly became the must-visit Ottawa dining destination for locals, tourists, and celebrities alike. Now run by Al’s son and family, this legacy continues, adding to the rich history of the restaurant and city alike.

Al’s was and is the only restaurant in Ottawa to cook its beef on live charcoal. Classic steakhouse meals define the cuisine at Al’s, perfectly complemented by cocktails, an extensive wine list, and uncompromising service.

Open daily for lunch and dinner, Al’s Steakhouse is the perfect location for intimate dinners and group events alike.
