Simon King is an experienced professional in the restaurant and hospitality industry, currently serving as Managing Director UK and Vice President for Shake Shack MENA and Turkiye at Alshaya Group since September 2016. Previously, Simon held the position of Vice President at Wiltshire Pub Company, where a contemporary country pub was opened, leading to strong sales and the opening of a second location. At Burger and Lobster, Simon was Managing Director for the UK, overseeing operations of a unique restaurant model offering accessible lobster dishes. Prior to these roles, Simon served as Managing Director and Retail Director at Mitchells & Butlers, responsible for significant growth and operational management of brands like Browns Bar & Brasseries. An alumnus of the University of Birmingham, Simon earned a degree in Multi Unit Leadership, Business Administration, and Management.
