André Dirks is currently the Certification and Authorisation Manager at Alstom, a position held since 2020. Previously, André worked at Bombardier Transportation from 2002 to 2007 as the Manager of Homologation and also served as a Department Manager for Control & Communication and a Software Engineer/Technical Project Manager. From 2013 to 2020, André was the Project & Bid Manager for ETCS onboard solutions at Bombardier. André began their career as an Ingenieur Besturingssystemen at Nederlandse Spoorwegen from 1991 to 1996. They hold a Master’s degree in Electrotechnics from Twente University, earned between 1984 and 1991.
