David Atkinson is the Head of Bids and Tenders UK & Ireland at Alstom, where they direct the company’s responses to both private and public sector transportation opportunities, managing a team of 14 bid professionals. Previously, David held various positions at Bombardier Transportation, including Bid Director for significant projects and Head of Sales and Marketing, where they led multiple successful bids and strategic initiatives. David earned an MBA in Industrialisation and Development from the University of Liverpool and holds a degree in American Studies from the University of Central Lancashire.
