David Cook

David Cook is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and operations. Currently serving as Retrofit Manager at Alstom since June 2016, David coordinates teams for the retrofit activities on OLRT trains, overseeing project implementation from conception to completion while ensuring compliance with EHS standards. Previous roles at Alstom include EPU Manager, where David drove production and quality standards, and Team Lead, responsible for the daily operations of production stations for Ottawa light rail trains. Before Alstom, David was a Department Manager at Lowe's Home Improvement, enhancing retail sales and customer experience, and worked as a Genius at Apple Retail, focusing on customer service excellence. Early experience includes serving as Yard Manager at Railside Containers, managing daily operations and maintenance logistics. David holds a BTEC in Aeronautical Engineering from Southall Technical College and graduated from Princess Margaret Royal Free School.
