Jorge Marcano, P. Eng., MIRSE, is currently a V&V Manager at Alstom, overseeing V-cycle activities related to in-house validation and project testing strategies in railway technologies. With a strong background in Electronic Engineering focused on Instrumentation and Control Systems, Jorge has accumulated extensive experience in the transportation and energy sectors. Past positions include Technical Specialist at PNR RailWorks, where they developed SCADA monitoring systems and conducted factory acceptance tests, and Electronics Specialist at Minorca (OPCO), where they significantly enhanced automatic control systems. Jorge holds multiple degrees in Electronic Engineering, including a summa cum laude distinction for their Specialist degree.
