Mathieu Plachot

System Application Architect

Mathieu Plachot is an experienced professional in the engineering and project management domains, currently serving as a System Application Architect, System Integration Manager, and Signalling Project Commissioning Manager for Alstom since July 2019. Leading a team of ten engineers on the Hanoi Metro Line 3 project, Mathieu is responsible for defining testing strategies, managing customer interfaces, overseeing quality, cost, and delivery (QCD), and driving process improvements through digitalization initiatives. Prior to this role, Mathieu held several positions at Alstom from September 2012 to March 2019, including ATC/DCS Test & Commissioning Leader. Mathieu's career began with an internship at Mercedes-Benz Technology in 2011, focusing on powertrain research and development for the new Mercedes A-Class. Mathieu holds an Engineer’s Degree in General Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy and completed additional studies at the Technical University of Munich and training as a sailing instructor at Les Glénans.
