Matthew Prior

Matthew Prior is a Senior Production Manager at Alstom, where they lead a team of nearly 100 people on the Class 720 Aventra train fleet for the East Anglia network. Prior held the roles of Project Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at Alstom and DP World London Gateway, respectively, before advancing to their current position. Previously, they worked at Ford Motor Company as a Diesel OBD Calibration Engineer and have experience as a Service Manager at Toomey Renault & Nissan. Additionally, Matthew serves as a Trustee for MyOTAS, a registered charity, since 2024. They completed a Master/High Technician degree at the Renault Technical Training Centre and earned a distinction in Light Vehicle NVQ level 3 mechanical/electrical at Basildon College.
