Phil Blacker

Phil Blacker is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the transportation sector. Currently serving as Signalling Design Director at Alstom since December 2015, Phil has also held roles including Head of Project Engineering and Programme Engineering Manager. Prior to joining Alstom, Phil worked at Atkins from 2000 to December 2015 as Engineering Manager and Technical Investigation Engineer, where responsibilities included serving as the engineering lead and primary client interface to ensure successful project delivery and technical compliance. Phil holds a BEng(Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol, obtained between 1991 and 1994.
