We’re a diversified, African-rooted public interest advisory firm partnering with change-makers in Africa, and around the world.

Staffed by a multidisciplinary team of public interest lawyers, researchers, strategists, communicators, and technologists, we partner with change-makers at the intersection of law, technology, and society to ensure a more just, equal, and sustainable world.

Across our three divisions, alt.advisory, alt.strategy, and alt.media, our Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Nairobi offices, and our expanding ALT Consultant Network, we’ve completed over 250 projects in 35 countries across 5 continents.

We work with our partners to co-create the pre-conditions to make lasting, structural change possible.

* ALT Advisory works in association with Power Law Africa, a leading public interest law firm supporting cases and causes that matter in South Africa, Kenya, and across the African continent.
