Sean Kapul

Sean Kapul is currently a Product Manager at Alt, a position they have held since July 2019. Sean has over a decade of experience in product management, poker coaching, and restaurant management. Sean co-founded Smoothie Bar Buenos Aires in 2011 and was responsible for managing the initial buildout of the cafe/restaurant, marketing strategies, procurement and purchasing. Sean has also been a professional poker player for over 10 years, competing and winning at high stakes games. In 2016, Sean founded plomastery.com, a coaching service for professional poker players looking to improve their technical skills and mindset. Sean has created and sold several high-level video courses through their site, offered 1-on-1 private hourly coaching, and took on a few students for long-term coaching and mentoring agreements.

Sean Kapul reports to Yang Guo, Head of Product & Data. They are on a team with Cheryl Xu - Data Scientist, Frank Xia - Product, and Anand Desai - Product.
