Alta Partners LLC is a family office located in New York and we are focused on small to mid-cap investments and arbitrage opportunities. Our business model is largely quantitative with a significant qualitative component. Years of experience across multiple disciplines have provided an edge allowing us to discover and avail ourselves of alpha while effectively managing the associated risks. We operate where volatility is enormous and price discovery is slow in forming. Our strategy is proprietary and is governed by our own real-time models which aid us in evaluating opportunities, executing them, and integrating them into our overall portfolio.
