Ashley Smith

Ashley Smith is a Human Resources Generalist specializing in Labor Relations at altafiber since March 2021. Previously, from August 2013 to September 2020, Ashley served as a Union Business Partner for the Seafarers International Union of North America, where responsibilities included negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements, conducting new hire orientations, and serving as a liaison among management, employees, and union executives to enhance workplace relations. Additionally, Ashley held the position of Lead Office Administrator, managing correspondence for senior management and assisting with grievance procedures. Ashley holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Indiana University East and an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from Ivy Tech Community College.
