Michael Murphy

Michael Murphy has a strong background in corporate tax and tax management. Michael started their career as a Tax Manager at KPMG in 2006, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2017, they served as the Manager of Domestic Tax at Brown-Forman. Michael then joined CECO Environmental Corporation as the Global Tax Director from 2017 to 2019. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Corporate Tax at altafiber since November 2019.

Michael Murphy earned a BS in Business with a focus on Finance and Accounting at Miami University from 2002 to 2005. Michael then pursued a MS in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting, at the University of Cincinnati from 2005 to 2006.
