Mark Garner

Mark Garner has extensive experience in insurance risk management. Mark most recently worked as the Director of Insurance Risk at AltaGas Ltd. from April 2023 onwards. Prior to that, they held the position of Manager of Insurance Risk at AltaGas Ltd. from June 2015 to April 2023. Before joining AltaGas, Mark was the Manager of Insurance Programs at ENMAX Corporation from June 2008 to June 2015. Mark also worked as a Risk Analyst in Insurance and Risk Management at the University of Calgary from February 2005 to June 2008. Mark's early career includes a role as a Risk & Security Analyst at Protection Solutions International from 1995 to 2004.

Mark Garner completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended Mount Royal University from 1991 to 1994, although no degree or field of study was specified.
