Vincent Hellens

Vincent Hellens, Jr., ENV SP, serves as Principal and West Region Business Development Director at Alta Planning + Design since April 2019, holding multiple principal roles including California Regional Director and Engineering Director for the West Region. With a strong background in civil engineering, Vincent contributed to significant transportation projects for local and state agencies during tenure at Psomas from August 2012 to April 2019, where roles included Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager. Previous positions at HDR | ICA from May 2006 to July 2012 included Staff Engineer and Construction Engineering Inspector, with responsibilities for preparing plans for various local and state entities. Vincent earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, graduating in 2007, after attending Gardena Senior High School and Westchester High School.
