Darryl Leong

Darryl Leong has over 10 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Darryl started their career in 2007 at Care1st Health Plan, where they served as the Medical Director for Health Care Informatics until November 2016. In 2007, they also took on the role of Chief Medical Information Officer at Care 1st Health Plan until December 2016. In 2016, they joined CenCal Health as the Chief Medical Officer, a position they held until January 2018. Currently, they are with AltaMed Health Services in the field of Health Care Informatics.

Darryl Leong has a BA in Chemistry from Reed College, which they completed in an unspecified year. Darryl then went on to pursue their MD in Medicine at SUNY Buffalo, where their education concluded in 1976. Following this, Darryl completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Hospitals from 1976 to 1979. Later, they obtained an MPH in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they finished in 1982.
